Family Practice Physician
Maniilaq Health Services manages and maintains all medical, clinical, and nursing services, including the 11 village clinics and the Maniilaq Health Center. The division is Maniilaq Association's largest and most extensive, offering a broad spectrum of health support services, ranging from Eye Care and Dental to Acute Care and Tribal Doctor services. Community Health Services include: Diabetes Prevention, Emergency Medical Services, Health Education, Home Care, Injury Prevention, Public Health Nursing Nursing Services include: Acute Care, Ambulatory Care, Nursing Education/Recruitment, Specialty Clinic The Specialty Clinic provides a wide range of services to residents of the Northwest Arctic Borough, including field health services, endoscopy for screening and diagnostic purposes, exercise electrocardiography testing, and outpatient chemotherapy services. The department also coordinates visits from specialists in Anchorage to provide patient consultations and procedures. Services are being expanded to include case management of patients with other chronic illnesses or special needs.
